Bass drum trigger is the first one to break if you are cheap, and believe me, it is only a matter of time. I should have gotten Rolands in the first place and not those "red" ones, you know which I mean...
The biggest advantage in addition to durable build is the easy of installation, as the triggerhead find it's place automatically. For a price this reasonable I don't really see why anyone would choose another product. It is pretty much flawless.

A
nice upgrade for the kick trigger
Anonymous 10.10.2016
I've been using the Roland kick trigger for some time. The new RT-30K is a nice upgrade from the previous model and seems to be "picking up" every soft beating.
The previous model seemed to require some extra fine-tuning to detect softer hits on bass drum head. This one works just fine, no matter how soft you play.
I'm using the trigger on mesh heads.

so far so good. using this one and a bt1 bar to trigger my modular system for a nice 808/909-ish touch.
