Slightly Disappointing

On first glance, these speakers stands are excellent. They feel weightier than most of their similarly priced competitors.

First use, I found them to be extremely sturdy, and I had almost no wobbling once I put my speaker on top (RCF422). I expect they could even take more weight without much trouble.

Unfortunately, the screws, connectors, fixtures, are of the quality you would expect at this price range. So, after some medium to heavy traffic, they have broken. I can still use them....just.....but it won't be long before they go to the hi-fi store in the sky.

Buy these for light use, or if they are installed in one location. They are good stands.
But, if you gig two or three times a week, and are continually putting up, and taking down, expect them to be knackered within 6 months or so.

The carry bag that they come with again, is adequate, but the zip soon broke, and the material ripped after a few months.

Great value, Poor Quality
CHaudio 27.01.2020
I bought these speaker stands to hold my active 12 inch Mackie speakers and have gotten great usage. The bag they come with is great, and is much better quality than the more expensive Millenium speaker stands.

The only down side is that the plastic fixings are very poor quality and come loose from time to time. If the plastic fixings were improved these would be a perfect product. They're very stable.

They are what you pay for!
Anonymous 06.07.2016
I have been using these stands for about 5 months. At first I thought they were great, but as I am now using them roughly 3 times a week, they don't stand up to the test!

For minimum use, they are great. Light weight, great for the price.
But when used quite frequently you start seeing why the are so cheap. The connecters and screws are not great quality, leading them to break off. I do take very good care of them, but it won't be long before I invest in a more expensive, better quality pair.

The bag is also not great. The strap broke off within a week or two of purchasing making them awkward to carry.

They are what you pay for!

The cheap one pays twice

Cheap, but not a longterm investment, if you're touring regularly using this stand set. In my opinion, isn't made for regular dismantling and traveling.
We bought this stand set for our Mackie Thumb 12 active speakers and were using BS-2211B MKII Stand set for about 2 months and before one of our shows we were setting up the stand, tried to tighten/ adjust the central screw for one of stands, and the screw fell off. We had to search for an alternative and bought Hercules Stands HCSS-200B from Thomann which was twice as more expensive, but it has a much better quality than this product. Right now we are using Millenium BS-2211B MKII stand set in our studio room for speakers we don't regularly move, hence, stand does it's initial functions.
Pros:
1) Cheap
2) Except one screw falling out, I have never encountered any other problem with the stand

Cons:
1) Regular dismantling of the stand may result in hardware malfunction (as our stand did)
2) Bag coming with the stand is very low quality and not the most comfortable one
3) Have to be mindful while adjusting the screws.

50/50

I have found that this product's greatest strength is also, unfortunately, it's greatest weakness. The stands are incredibly lightweight. This is terrific as they are in no way bulky and are very to set up and take down. It is also worth noting that they have had no trouble whatsoever holding my Yamaha 400 watt speakers during all gigs to date. However, I must refer back to how this product's strength relates directly to it's weakness. Due to it's light weight, these stands can tend to take a bit of a battering on the road. I'm concerned that this continuous wear could limit the stands life span to only a couple of years before they become unfit for use.

Surprised

This stand has the word professional in its description. There is nothing professional about it! I receive it as a bundle with 15 inch active speakers and I was surprised to see that mounted on pole the speaker balances more than ever. The other aspect involves the material it is made of, I expected metal and it is plastic. For home use it is perfect, for long term i don't recommend.

Does the job
Anonymous 16.08.2016
Although they are a good price i would recommend spending the money on more expensive pair.

They are very very light and come with a carry bag.
The stands are metal with plastic knobs.
The bag is made of strong fabric but the stitching on the handles is very bad, the handles broke of the 2 sets of stands I bought.

I liked how they were so light, and versatile, could use them to hold speakers one night and a t-bar the next!

If you are looking for a 'does the job' pair of stands these are the ones!

My personal issues

One of the stands, didn't fit perfectly into the speaker so set disassembly was always an issue.

The pins keep coming off and one of the stands broke a little too easily.
