Good for the price
AVG 20.06.2016
These are nice stands and good quality for the price. They are light weight so nice to carry but also means they may not be as stable as heavier alternatives. However, I've not found this to be a problem. They are ideal for light, plastic speakers (I use them with EV zlx12p's) but I'd worry about using them with heavy wooden boxes.

They are of decent construction, I have several sets still in good condition after a couple of years of moderate use. If you look after them they will serve you well, but I don't think they will stand up to much abuse.

Similarly, the included carry bag feels like it would easily burst if you are not careful. It's a tight fit and there's a bit of a knack to get both poles in.

Overall, this speaker stand set has exceeded my expectations for the price and has been excellent value. You just need to look after them. Would recommend these for anyone using lightweight speakers.

KS
Millenium stands

Like most band we prefer to spend our cash on our sound and instruments. It's only after the speaker stand has gone over and done ether the speaker in or something else in we then admit defeat. These stands fitted the bill for us, not over the to in price yet more than good enough. You get a good spread on the legs so they will take a big unit. They also have air pressure in the stem. This is useful when you take the pin out the speaker will slowly descend instead of try to take your head off. Are they the toughest? no is the answer but neither are they flimsy. The key is.. don't chuck them in the van at the end of the night. Place them in as you would your amp and they will last as long as they are needed.

LL
Perfect for studio
Louie Louie 10.09.2021
These are nice for studio use, and I'd prefer them to wallmounts thanks to the adjustability. However, I wouldn't use them live regularly. The plastic heads on the height adjusters feel like they'll break if over tightened or often used. They're also very light. If you have to use them live, put them well out of the way of any over-refreshed members of the audience.
For the price, I'm happy with them, though.

Great for the money, but I'm not sure how well they'll last
Anonymous 31.03.2016
First off the stands feel sturdy when new, and have a good finish. They also come with a fairly decent bag which is useful if you're just taking out a small pair of active boxes for a small job.
I'm not convinced the stands will last that well as after only a few months work they've started to show signs of wear and tear and certainly feel less stable than they did when new.
However it's worth noting that they'll easily last for well over the third of the lifespan of a more expensive brand name stand, and the appearance doesn't seem to deteriorate any faster than that of a more expensive brand. Consequently I think I'd rather replace these more frequently than a K&M or similar and always have stands that look shiny and new.

S
Surprisingly good
Sulev 21.09.2022
Bought these to a house that needed a quick cheap stand.
They are very good for the price. Yes, the attachments are plastic, but for the price i don't even mind.

Bag is very weak.

Does what it says on the tin

So far so good - carrying case isn't particularly going to last long but the stands themselves are great, light and sturdy

Beautiful stands,
Anonymous 06.09.2014
These stands are very sturdy and have had a lot of thought put into the design of the speaker stands. From the part that holds the locking safety pin when the stand is folded down, to the ease of unlocking the stand to adjust the height. It also comes with a bag so the stands are together and you are not constantly searching for one stand (if you forget where you left it). It also makes easier when transporting it into the venue as it has handles that you can put your arm through and carry them in on your shoulder, leaving your arms free to bring in other stands / equipment.

This was a good buy as it came with a package that Thomann had created, with the Mackie thump speakers.

Cheap but very cheerful
teehanstef 30.01.2019
These aare a great stand but are a little light. Wouldnt take much to knock over so placement is important so they dont get knocked over. Apart from that, not bad at all.

O
Good speaker stand!
Oriel 15.11.2013
I bought this as bundle together with my LD systems Dave 12 G3 and I was thinking that this is a cheap crap product and planning to buy a good one but it is not. It is well made and it is really serving its purpose as a speaker stand and I think I am not replacing this for long time. I am happy with this product!
