Quite stable but not 35mm pole, can't use with a sub
thomas_91 17.07.2019
incredibly one side of the pole is a bit larger than 35 mm, so I have to use the entire stand even if I use 2 sub...

With 20kg speakers they don't seem to be very solid, anyway after some weeks they're still working fine and nothing broke.

light weight and easy to use but doesnt last long. the screws usually break in a year or 2 depending on use. its good for 12 inch light speakers not for 25 kg speakers. i would be afraid it would fall. but i would buy it as its cheap and part of a bundle just for temporary use.

Broken!!
Anonymous 10.10.2014
Until now never been unhappy with a product, on the second gig using these with passive (light) loudspeakers the plastic on one of the tightening knobs disintegrated leaving me with a stand that can only be used in its shortest position, don't know if this is a one off fault, batch fault or just general cheap design, but the whole plastic part the knob screws into cracked and fell off in my hand as a I was tightening. I look after my gear and rig professionally and things last me for years, couldn't believe it broke at the start of the second gig.

Unbalanced build quality
wlaboo 19.04.2021
I've been able to use these just a few times before being no longer able to tighten one of the screws holding the base, which are probably the worst part.
The stands themselves felt rather solid at first, but quite unstable once I put a couple of 4 kg speakers on top. I guess they would work for heavier speakers as well, but they don't seem extremely reliable.

Speaker Posts Not Robust
StevieD 26.06.2018
Had the Millennium speaker posts as part of PA bundle. Seemed okay (but not very sturdy) until after about 6 gigs the tightening nut/band around extendable part of one post just disintegrated as I was tightening it. It's just plastic and I can't see how anybody could get it to last unless you didn't tighten it (which is what I'd recommend)

Poor Performance
Anonymous 09.10.2016
Bought the Speaker Stands for our sound system that we set up once a week. The Speaker Stands broke in the first two months. Was able to fix them ourselves but they were never the same and always had a fear of falling. Disappointed in them.

You get what you pay for....
Anonymous 21.11.2016
....Naturally. It's certainly a cheap piece of equipment but not very robust. One of the tighteners just broke with just a little extra strenth i put on it, and generally speakers are not too stabile when mounted, especially when you push the stand to its height limit. I use two mackie srm 450v3 speakers - 16,8 kg each.

In general I don't feel confident concerning safety when i use these stands. There was a case that we gigged at a school with 5-6 grade students, and i had to take extra care putting obstacles on the way so that no child could approach the stands - and of course the speakers ABOVE the stands! - just to avoid some tragedy taking place....

In fact i purchased them from thomann as part of a bundle. BUT i suggest spend some more money and buy something more reliable. Because of the very nature of the product, it's a matter of safety!

TN
Crumbling Speaker Stands
Tweed Nelson 03.07.2017
I bought these stands thinking that they'd last me a year or two as I am a very busy gigging musician. I couldn't have been more wrong. After 2 gigs, the plastic surrounding the adjustment screws started to crumble and within about 3 weeks, the screws fell out completely. The stand is really quite stable, despite the fact that I'm setting the height with the through-pin only as the rest of the mechanism has simply crumbled away. Not a bad stand structurally, terrible cheap plastic parts.
