The most versatile power supply
Arpie 19.11.2015
It was a big concern to me what kind of power supply should I buy to feed all my pedals.

I have quite a lot of pedals in my pedalboard with different voltage & ampere requirement.

Just to give you a short insight, I have:
Morley Bad Horsie 2 Wah pedal, Sony DWZ wireless unit, Korg DT-10 tuner, Boss NS-2, Ibanez TS-9, DOD 250, TC Nova repeater, ADA midi switch, Decibel 11 Loop expander, Lehle SGoS, MXR EVH Phase 90, Hotone Reverb.

Couple of pedals needed relatively a huge 300mA supply, others needed a 12V. This situation obviously made the decision more difficult.

After checking literally everything on the market from T-Rex, Voodoo Lab, Carl Martin, Cioks, Dunlop.....I figured out that the best option for me would be the Cioks DC-10.

I must say I didn't regret my decision at all. Very robust unit, indestructible, 10 outlets in 8 isolated section, supplied with plenty of cables.
The only negative thing I can mention is that Cioks uses a RCA plug to connect the cables to the power unit, the normal typical DC plug would be more convenient. But as they put enough cable in the box I can't complain at all.

After connecting everything I realised that the annoying noise and hiss are gone.
The unit is small, easy to fit to any pedalboard, very well made, you can immediately feel the quality as soon as you hold it in your hand.

I really prefer that it has a proper main cable instead of an adapter.

Another useful feature: if something is wrong with any of the outlet (short circuit, incorrect voltage) the relevant red LED with blink accordingly to let you know the problem.

Well worth every penny!!!

I'm in love
Anonymous 12.05.2016
When I first held it, it felt heavy. That was good.
Then I unboxed it, and wow... the finish is amazing, the overall build is extremely professional, built like a tank - would probably survive one too...
The options are endless, you can power a massive board with this box, variable voltage, combine or isolate outputs, etc.. you name it.
It's so silent... no noise, great quality.
Two things to note:
1. If you planned to reuse flex cables from other power supplies, this uses RCA to connect, so forget it
2. There is only one daisy chain cable (with 2 outputs) so if you plan to do more chains, get the additional cables right away
Love it really, this will be a keeper and hope will last me a lifetime

Cioks DC10

I purchased this power supply as it can power my 15 volt Radial pedal, my 12 volt eventide H9 and still power another 6 x 9 volt pedals and can even double up 2 of the 9 volt outputs to power an 18 volt pedal. Extremely versatile and excellent build quality. Very flat footprint so easily fitted under a pedaltrain. All leads and adapters came with the unit also.

Build like a tank
Vlaho 15.03.2016
Cast iron housing, heavy duty block of 8 isolated outputs with plenty of juice to power your current hungry pedals.

Great deal of options using dip switches and a lot of different options with supplied cables.

This thing, has it all, thyroidal transformer, good shielding and small footprint so you can set in under your pedal board.

Although it says 10 outputs, in fact it has 8 9V isolated with different current supply ranging from 100mA to 400mA. And when they say 100mA, they mean 100mA.

Those red dots are LEDs showing useful information if you overload your output.

Pedals are quiet as with battery.
