Great for blues
Shed Man 22.11.2024
I've recently returned to trumpet playing and started back on a 16C4. This was relatively large and, although good, wasn't as bright as I wanted for blues.
As I'd played a 3C mouthpiece before then this 14B4 looked like it would fit the bill. It's spot on. Slotted straight in. Very comfortable and helps me produce exactly the sound I want with a bit of sizzle.
Definitely a fan of Yamaha GP series as they're very comfortable but are also suitable for me as I have a nickel allergy.

Little difference noted between gold tip and normal but purchased for aesthetics. All good, sets of the trumpet well, there are no doubt other benefits over time so will up date when experienced.
