Cheap but good

Bought this item to replace rusty and aged tuners on an old 12 string guitar that has been around for decades. Surprisingly for this price, after 2 years the tuning remains very stable and the action is very smooth.

Not bad for the money

3 and 6 on a plate tuners are hard to locate for acoustic guitars - these didn’t fit my old Yamaha (apparently in the 80s the Japanese made all their peg holes exactly one inch apart!) but they do fit a more modern Crafter guitar and they are the best I’ve found if I’m honest. Most open gears are a bit rubbish unless they are US made - but these seem just fine. Guitar is less headstock heavy and stays in tune.
