Thomann Ocarina 7H Pig Terracotta

J'ai acheté cet ocarina pour son aspect, mais j'ai été également surpris par sa qualité sonore, du coup, je l'utilise très régulièrement.

Prise en main:
La forme n'est pas la plus idéale pour jouer rapidement: un ocarina traversier ou un ocarina pendentif 6 trous sont plus adaptés pour jouer rapidement. Cependant, la prise en main est assez bien pensée: la "queue" du cochon, où s'accroche la lanière est assez prononcée pour y poser les auriculaires afin d'équilibrer l'ocarina. Le doigté est logique, ce qui permet de se mettre à jouer rapidement.

Son:
Tessiture du Fa (F#4) (en soufflant doucement) au Sol (G5), soit une octave et un demi ton. Notez que cet ocarina est optimisé "en sol majeur", même s'il est chromatique.
Le timbre est vraiment agréable des notes les plus graves aux plus aiguës.

Livret associé:
Il contient 17 mélodies jouable sur cet ocarina, et 2 pour des ocarinas à 8 trous.
Cependant, toutes les explications et partitions sont prévues pour des ocarinas en Do. Donc, en suivant les tablatures, vous jouerez directement en transposant en Sol majeur. Ce n'est pas un grave problème, mais c'est un peu surprenant.

Hab mir dieses Schweinchen spontan geholt, da ich bereits die 12 Loch Ocarina spiele und meinen Horizont erweitern wollte. Als ich dann beim durchstöbern diese niedliche Optik sah, fand ich es für den Preis als Scherz ganz lustig. Aber das Instrument kann doch mehr als scherzen. Besonders in den Höhen bringt es einen schönen, warmen Klang. Das mitgelieferte und umfangreiche Songbuch voll mit Evergreens macht einen Einstieg innerhalb von Minuten möglich. Wer schon immer mal ein Einstiegsinstrument gesucht hat, sollte zur 7-Loch Ocarina greifen, einfacher und zugleich effektiver geht es gar nicht.
Aber vielleicht nicht zu genau diesem Schweinchen. Ich selbst habe massig Freude daran, aber eine Person die mit Blasinstrumenten unerfahren ist, könnte in den tiefen Lagen die Freude verlieren. Besonder das tiefe C spricht manchmal gar nicht an, da muss man schon sehr viel über einen trainierten Mund Ansatz herausholen. Die Ansprache hätte also noch etwas besser ausgelotet sein können.
Schade ist auch, dass das Terracotta unbehandelt gelassen wurde. Eine Lackierung würde vor Flecken schützen und fühlt sich nicht so unangenehm rau an, wie es die Ocarina im jetzigen Zustand tut. Außerdem verfärbt sich nach dem Spielen so die Nase des Schweinchens, da die Feuchtigkeit einzieht. So sieht das Schweinchen halt etwas geknutscht aus, naja....
Für das Geld hat man aber einen unfassbaren Spaß mit dem süßen Ding. Ich spiele es gern. Und Ocarina Fans fügen ihrer Sammlung einen liebevollen Blickfang hinzu.

I purchased this as a gift for a child (under the age of 5) and it is really great:
- it is not to heavy for a children, buthe will hold it pretty tight;
- it does a good sound (I don' have a lot of experience with Ocarinas, but for this price and this type of product that is not the most traditionnal, it is pretty good)
- it is functionning properly, and it lasts in time
- the build quality is pretty good, and even if you don't use it, it can be displayed or used as a toy very easily


Very pleased with this product. However, you need to consider that it is not the best Ocarina you will ever see, because it is not the purpose of this product. For children, it is a good way to lead them steadily into music, in a very fun way. I totally recommend it 1
