It is a very good 'long' B1 (soprano / sopranino) Rotter ocarina (10 holes). No apparent or evident 'flaws', just a little bit 'conventional', I mean, no particular or special 'strengths'. But also no weaknesses and that is a very good point in itself. It is quite loud (of course), suitable for outdoor exhibitions. I am quite satisfied with the ocarina, especially because the tone is solid and bright, but not annoying. A very good, little and handy, musical instrument.

The tone of this ocarina is much better than it's C1 counter part, perhaps due to it being slightly larger. The finer spacing is much more erganomic and doesn't feel too cramped. The build quality is very good, although I'm not overly fond of the finish as it is a bit sandy. No doubt this will be good when the ends get a bit sweaty and slippery. The tone of each note is wonderfully pure throughout the register and even the highest notes aren't shrill in the slightest. It comes with a lovely leather puch that is very fitting for this rustic looking ocarina.
