J'ai toujours mon SansAmp de1992. Et il marche impeccablement.
Donc, si c'est toujours aussi bien fabriqué, mon fils héritera du tout dans 30 ans.
J'ai mis 4 étoiles pour l'utilisation car les réglages sont très sensibles. A la base on a du Vox, et ensuite, les 3 bandes d'égalisation agissent comme si un ingé' son faisait le boulot à la console.
On commence donc à midi, on joue avec le "character" et le "drive", et ensuite, on ajuste avec l'EQ.
J'ai eu un AC4 - 12 pouces, j'ai joué sur un AC15 et un peu sur un AC30.
N'ayant pas les 3 amplis à disposition, il est difficile de faire du test en aveugle, certes, mais j'ai bien retrouvé l'esprit de la marque.
Branché dans mon Yamaha THR en mode "flat", et à un volume correct, on a vraiment l'impression d'avoir un ampli digne d'un vrai.
Je refuse par ailleurs d'entrer dans le débat "lampes ou pas lampes".
Ce joli petit truc tient dans la housse de ma gratte, je peux me brancher dans un ampli ou dans la console. Essayer de trimbaler ne serait-ce qu'un AC4 en transport en commun...
Donc, oui, ça fait trèèèèèès bien le boulot, c'est très pratique. Et c'est pour moi l'essentiel.

I still have my SansAmp from 1992. And it works perfectly. So, if it is still as well made, my son will inherit everything in 30 years. I gave it 4 stars for the use because the settings are very sensitive. Basically we have Vox, and then, the 3 equalization bands act as if a sound engineer was doing the job at the console. So we start at noon, we play with the "character" and the "drive", and then, we adjust with the EQ. I had an AC4 - 12 inches, I played on an AC15 and a little on an AC30. Not having the 3 amps available, it is difficult to do a blind test, of course, but I found the spirit of the brand. Plugged into my Yamaha THR in "flat" mode, and at a correct volume, we really have the impression of having an amp worthy of a real one. I also refuse to get into the "tubes or no tubes" debate. This nice little thing fits in my guitar case, I can plug into an amp or the console. Try to carry around even just an AC4 on public transport... So, yes, it does the job very very well, it's very practical. And that's the main thing for me.
