VERY happy with product. Using for Harley Benton EUB 500
George Konstantine 31.12.2014
I bought a Harley Benton EUB 500 from Thomann, and needed a stand to keep it on when not playing it.

After much research I happened upon this stand. It works VERY well for the EUB 500. You have to set it on the tallest setting for the bass body for it to hold the bass. It's sturdy as it has a wide footprint. I also like that there is a arm that clips into place that holds the neck in place. No possibility for the bass to fall out of the stand.

The only odd thing I noticed is that where the body of the bass was touching the frame, there is some soft material to not scratch the bass. In this area the paint of the bass started lifting off and cracking. I'm not sure if it was an adverse reaction between the paint and the chemical composition of the soft material.

Thomann should list it as an accessory for the EUB 500

All in all, excellent for my use!

Safe and steady
Funkkk_bass 07.02.2019
Will hold your 3/4 acoustic double bass safe and steady.
Full metal with rubber and foam protection.
Double bass will fit even with the end pin extended.
Includes a small hook to place the bow.

Edit: after a few months, the rubber protection on the lower tubes is destroyed. Must be carefull placing the instrument on, since the metal tubes are exposed.

Great investment
Vedran_ZG 11.09.2017
One of the most difficult task for me during gigs or parties was finding the safe and stabile place for my double bass. Many times my base fell or people stumlled on it..not any more.... for small investment in this stand all my worries dissapeared. The stand is robust, stabile and easy to use. The price is unbeatable, too (especially comparing it to the potential repair cost of your falling bass). I use this stand at home and when visiting different places, gigs. It is easy to dissamble and assemble again. This were pro's, right now I do not have any cons. Definitely worth money.

Nice stand for less money

I´ve ordered this stand because I´ve looked for something solid to put in my double bass on stage. This stand made by Stagg is very solid and gives me a good feeling when I has to change to my electric bass. It is realy big and not so easy to transport but if you are on the road with a bus, you will find a place for it.
