This was a good buy. It's well made and easy to attach and really I have no complaints about this product. I did however, on a recommendation, add some extra sponge padding in the bottom to make sure the tip of my bow was protected, but perhaps that was unnecessary...an easy option to add some extra cushioning though so why not!
I also attached it in my own way... threading it criss-crossed through each string hole, thereby spreading the weight (which isn't much I admit) right across the tail-piece and tying it at the opposite side to where the quiver sits. I think it works really well like that and looks good too.
It's wonderful to have your bow so close to hand. Once you've put a quiver on your bass you'll wonder how you ever managed without one.

Beautiful yet more triangular
Nana Bass 25.10.2021
The item received has not the same round shape as shown on the product photos - instead, the bow entry hole is triangular and edgy. But still, it's quite easy to insert the bow so the quiver does the job perfectly. And on top of all, it looks great :)

Call me Hawkeye...
basswulf 05.02.2015
Having started to play in a group that involves arco work as well as jazz pizz, I became aware of the need to keep my bow within easy reach. The Protec quiver meets that need well.
It could have come with some instructions but does the job. I wonder if a larger quiver or one with a less fuzzy lining would work better - it takes a little attention to get the bow in and out - but it does hold it well and enables me to make transitions that were difficult (or, in tight spaces, impossible) in the past.
