Shubb capos are the nuts.
Throw all the rest away.
They are compact, strong, adjustable, can be used in various ways and positions so as not to obstruct your hand and the grip can be adjusted to minimise distorting the string tuning.
I have had the original S1 for 25 years or so, having used it on 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars and it is as good as the day I bought it. I am buying this second S1 because I have more than one guitar and have friends that also like to come round and jam. The S1 can also be used on 12 string acoustic guitars but the C3 12 string capo may be better suited especially if you like using them up at the 5th fret and further up the neck.
I have used the other capos on the market but they are either bulky spring type with no adjustment on the grip or strap type that like to ping off just as you go into your instrumental break.
When you use Shubb capos, you know that this is where capos end. Brilliant...
