Expensive for a peace of fabric, but it works wel. It is clean, unlike the gels that become a mess. nice sound. very handy : you can put it off, on or even make it heavier with a weight for more muffling. Very interesting muffling method

The manufacturer has thought of every detail - easy attachment to the hoop with no risk to scratch anodised/powder coated hoops, magnet so that the Mini Muff can be attached to itself (with or without the weight) on the hoop and only the moment you want to dampen the head to push it down in a working position. It dampens the overtones just enough.

You can turn it on or off in the middle of songs and you can remove the weight if you only want little dampening. I have one for the medium-high tuned snare and one for the 16'' floor tom. For a punchy low tuned snare I'd rather use a muffling ring but this product should always be in your backpack anyway. Very durable by the way.
