Good, sturdy, cheap and reliable

After refusing to pay for the outrageously expensive other ball joint snare stands, I decided I'd give this one a try, firstly because it looked almost exactly the same in the pictures and secondly because it was half the price. I have not been disappointed. Like any ball tilter basket, you have to be careful to place the drum so that the weight isn't unbalanced (a common issue with these stands), but other than that standard issue, the stand is remarkable for the money. I have started using other Millenium pro-level hardware and think I will be only buying their hardware in the future. Who needs a brand name for their stands!

Why Pay More?!
Anonymous 19.01.2016
I bought this for gigging at the same time as buying a much more expensive Gibraltar snare stand for my home practice kit and I much prefer this one! For one thing, it's much easier to adjust and has all the same features and is just as stable as the Gibraltar. The build quality is also indistinguishable from the more expensive brand. Why would anyone pay more? Spend your hard-earned cash on the best drums you can buy and save money on your stands, that's what I did and I thoroughly recommend you do the same!

Standard stand

A normal snare stand, the support can tighten for smaller snares, but not so much for example to hold a 12 inches realfeel pad (although if you tigthen it as much as possible you can kind of get it stuck in it, and it works, unsure what happens with a 12 inch snare or anything of the sort).

The tripod on top has a sphere, as junction, to move it, so seems to be quite easy to set up and more comfortable than most stands, that makes it very quick to use.

Only drawback, it is unexpectedly heavy.
Very good overall in all the other aspects.

Good quality compared to the price. Unfortunately, due to the weight transferred to the back, it's not very stable. The ends of the legs are made of soft plastic or very hard rubber - they slide on a slippery surface instead of being stable as in the case of rubber.
