The second string will not play clearly past 2nd fret, pull out of slot in biscuit and it will. Not sure if biscuit is wrong way or . Very disappointed in a 222 dollar piece of unplayable crap

The guitar does what it says it does and does it well. There are things I wish it did better but for the price, I really cant complain. Worthwhile if you're just starting out in the CBG world

One of the best instruments I've ever played!

I bought this since i really enjoy playing 4 stringed instruments like the ukulele and bass guitar. I love the design and sound of this cigar box guitar! The resonator is loud and has a unique sound to it. The guitar is lightweight but solid and the neck is the perfect width for me (similar to a baritone ukulele but more narrow). I have tried many tunings and dplayed around with it a lot and my friends love to play it too.

Authentischer Spaß

Ich bin völlig zufällig (und getrieben von etwas GAS, ich gebe es zu) auf die Cigar Box-Gitarre gekommen, kannte das vorher nur oberflächlich. Zum Instrument: Es macht sofort richtig Spaß – vorausgesetzt, man ist erstens jemand, der gerne improvisiert und mehr oder weniger auf jedem Instrument ad hoc irgendwas zustandebringt und zweitens kein kompromissloser "Hifi"-Typ – denn der hätte mit dieser Art schlichtem, im Grunde sogar primitiven Instrument vermutlich Schwierigkeiten. Mich hingegen beamt das Instrument sofort in eine Delta-Blues-Welt, einfach fantastisch. Verarbeitung ist bestens, die Mechaniken sind gut, alles ist "wertig". Und der Klang ist wirklich fein – charismatisch und eigen. Habe es auch schon aufgenommen, mit einem budget Ribbon Mic (MXL R144), klingt super, kann das Mic dazu empfehlen. Kurz und gut: Wer mal was anderes als Tele-Strat-Les-Paul will und Spaß am Improvisieren hat, der sollte das mal ausprobieren. Preis ist absolut fair und angemessen!
