It is impossible even to hold this guitar comfortably as the unbalanced weight of the fretboard makes it hard even to stabilize the instrument on your lap. This product should be discontinued.

Mehr als ein bißchen Gitarre für das Geld

Wie wohl jeder, der so eine Gitarre kauft, habe auch ich eine Reisegitarre gesucht. Das Angebot von Thomann war günstiger oder ähnlich preiswert wie die einer Gebrauchten bei Ebay, und wer kann bei einer Goldtop schon nein sagen?
Die Gitarre kam in gutem und sofort spielbarem Zustand an, Hals, Oktavreinheit etc. stimmten im Großen und Ganzen. Dennoch habe ich den NoName PU gegen einen SD Pearl Gates ausgetauscht, der noch bei mir rumlag, und das macht einen deutlichen Unterschied. Der bei dieser Prozedur abplatzende Lack war ärgerlich (darum hier nur drei Sterne), die Folgen blieben aber unter dem Pickguard verborgen. Nun würde ich das Ding auch mit auf die Bühne nehmen. Einzig die Kopflastigkeit ist (konstruktionsbedingt) ein Faktor, den man nicht außer Acht lassen sollte. Im Sitzen geht da fast nichts, ein Gurt hilft. Wenn man das weiß - alles gut.
