Simple, Effective

Simple, and does what you want. It would've been nice if the big knob was metal, however.

Sound is also good, and the stepped control helps one manage volume throughout sessions consistently.

I find it really well build (like a tank) and quite handy. That being said I find some sound (frequency or phase) anomalies when the volume knob is bellow 0. Unfortunately it makes a significant difference for me.
something that I really like though its that its rather heavy and therefore its not moving all around my desk.

NA
Sexy looking and useful
Nuno Andrade 12.09.2024
Well, this one is easy. After a couple of years using this all I can say is that it works great and is a very straightforward piece of gear. Easy to hookup and all.
I don't want no interfaces with this kind of monitor control, cause I may change interface here and there, and obviously this function will never be my top priority when it comes to interface specs. Plus, I like independent sections of my studio sound flow, for trouble shooting and all.
This looks and works great, just as the day I bought it from Thomann. I use one main set of monitors and some extra pair of auratone style of speakers I put together myself. Very comfortable to change monitors during mix/master and the mono button is great. Feels solid and old-school to the touch and it looks sexy on my desktop.
This is the type of product that once you get used to it makes soo much sense and one never wants to go back on this.
I think it will last quite a long time, firstly because of it being sturdy and well put together, and also because once you connect the cables you'll rarely be messing with those anyway. This being fully analog and passive, it will probably outlast my future interfaces and even speakers sets. it being so retro style it's going to stay looking good in my studio.

Heritage Audio Baby RAM Monitor controller
Lraya 08.04.2022
This passive compact controller is built like a tank, looks cool and it is dead silent while switching monitors. I use it with UAD apollo system, and high quality balanced Klotz-Neutrik cables.
