Good product for the money

I Only used it for a few days but it seems to work ok.

Sometimes the strings buzz very slightly, but after adjusting it a little it seems to work ok.

Very good for the money.

J
great bang for your buck!

I recently picked up the Harley Benton HBCA-7D-A D-Style Capo, and it’s been a solid addition to my gear. Here’s what I think after using it for a few weeks:

What I Like

1. Great Value for Money:
For its price, this capo delivers excellent performance. It’s affordable, but it doesn’t feel like a cheap product at all.
2. Solid Build Quality:
The capo has a durable metal construction that feels sturdy in hand. The spring mechanism is reliable and offers a consistent grip on the strings without requiring excessive force to use.
3. Easy to Use:
The D-style design makes it simple to clamp onto the neck and move between frets quickly during performances. It works smoothly with both acoustic and electric guitars, as advertised.
4. No Buzzing:
One of the standout features is how well it holds down the strings without creating any unwanted buzzing or muting, even on thicker acoustic strings.

What Could Be Improved

1. Tight Spring for Some:
While the strong spring ensures a firm grip, it might feel a bit stiff for players who frequently reposition their capo. This isn’t a dealbreaker but worth noting.
2. Fit on Wide Necks:
It works fine for most standard acoustic and electric guitars, but for very wide necks, like 12-string guitars, it may feel a little snug.

p
as good as anything more expensive
paulo1964 20.12.2019
Having lost my old capoI took the opportunity to add one to an order (for a sennheiser mic). I had used the branded Trigger capos for years but after reading the reivies decided to try the own brand.Any concerns about quality were easily put aside once I received it.easy to use, good quality, as good as anything else on the market.Highly recommended.
