I bought the Glorious Sound Desk Pro for use in my home studio as I needed something that had a keyboard tray and some rackspace for my audio interface, patch bay and midi interfaces etc. This fits the bill perfectly.

The design is perfect for my needs and I now have lots more useable workspace with most of the things I need within arms reach.

The numerous cable ducts on the desk surface and cable tidy at the rear are well placed and means I can keep my cabling very tidy, but more importantly my desktop is uncluttered also.

It arrives flatpack but it's pretty easy to put together and seems very sturdy.

The keyboard tray can be set at 4 different heights which is a bonus depending on the size of the keyboard/mixer you are putting on it. My only gripe is on the 2 lowest settings means my legs touch the slide out tray, that said it's not a big issue at all.

All in all it's a fantastic desk and is well worth the money. The build quality seems very good but I can't comment on longevity as I've only had it a week. But I do recommend this especially if, like me, you were looking at the Output Platform and didn't want to spend as much.

MN
Great design & very practical
Mr. Nelson 13.02.2020
I needed a good studio desk that both looked good and was functional. At this price point, this was a no brainer. It is the perfect size, allows me to easily access lots of my outboard gear, is pleasing to the look and is the perfect center piece for my studio.

It was not difficult to build ; the instructions are clear, and there were no issues at all when putting it together.

The wood finish is excellent, the draw table is steady enough, the height is correct and the work space is more than sufficient for a home studio.

My speakers can sit and be angled correctly. I have been able to hide all the cables thanks to the dedicated space behind it, which makes for a very clean finish.

I am glad I made the decision to get this desk. You will not be disappointed. I see no reason why it will ever leave the studio!

Ó
Great value if the holes were drilled correctly
Óran 20.05.2022
I started to put the desk together and the instruction manual was fine. I followed it exactly and quadruple checked everything but the steel bar that runs underneath the user-side of the desktop didn't fit into the cutouts in the legs. Whether the bar was in the wrong place or the cutouts were I'm not sure. Anyway, the separate pieces themselves are very sturdy and the desk is lovely when put together, but I had to modify it. Adding my own cutouts for the steel bar and also some of the fixings didn't line up with the pre drilled holes from the factory, so I had to leave out 4 fixings from the desktop and ended up driving my own screws to hold the rack-side and the user-side of the desk down, luckily I managed to do that without any screws showing and I had the tools and knowhow. Be wary of the desk, if the few holes weren't misaligned I'd be giving it full stars. I decided not to try return it as it would have been a pain and I am happy with how it functions and looks, just a shame I had to fix what they had done wrong!

Great construction quality, more fun to build than a Lego set!

A decent desk that fits an 88 key keyboard/MIDI controller is rare for under £400. Great build quality and value. Great service by Thomann too!
