Guitar sounds great! Playing for 56 years. Love telecasters ‘cause they’re so reliable, (see YouTube video of Kieth Richard’s knocking a guy off the stage with his tele, in the middle of a song, then continuing to play). The LP jr. seems just as sturdy. With the shorter scale the jr. is a little looser. Open strings ring a little less, a little less note separation, bends easier, fingers less sore after a few hours of playiing, a little more forgiving than a long scale. Shines for slide. Nice even sweep on the volume & tone controls.
Memphis-like attention to details, very well finished. If you like tele’s, you’ll like the jr.

Simplicity at its finest

Very resonant guitar! Well set up straight from the factory, I was not expecting that.
Quality ok, frets and nut are fine, keeps in tune well. On the minus side, dirty and badly polished frets, glue residue on fretboard from installing fretwire, the edge where the fingerboard joins the neck has very bad a laquerjob. I’ve seen harley bentons finished better than this.
Overall, a really nice simple rocknroll guitar with a very good p90 pickup, good hardware and electronics. Nit minding the bad finishing job, beautifull guitar that plays well. Because of the bad finish, I do think this guitar is overprives as most Gibsons are.
Anyhow mine is a keeper!
