Serve perfect what it's built for. Really stable not only attached to vertical tubing but it can be attached to horizontal one as well - rack leg. And I've seen that it holds even the most heavy dw edge snares. Tne lower part is made from stainles steel (as all the dw rack tubings) and the clamps are pure aluminum which is really sturdy. The 9000 snare basket itself is a bit hard to work with, not that fast like the modern tiltless stands from other brands. But once it's set - that's it! Take your time to adjust it as you like and it'll stay that way 'till the end of the world no matter how heavy snare it holds.
Thanks Holger and all the Thomann team :)

Solid piece as expected, but arm little short
Maogomez 17.05.2021
The piece is a massive solid and heavy DW item, which is much appreciated!!
The only negatove isd the bar, which is short for purpose. If the rack is little too far, the snare cannot be anchored to the front bar.
That should have been thought through little more so one can adapt it to any position needed :) More considering this aint a cheap item

Love this!

This snare basket is a wonderful addition to the DW rack. The beauty is having nothing below the snare drum allowing more freedom for double kick pedal access etc. As with all top end DW hardware its made to last and feels like no compromises have been made in the manufacture process,
