Love my Gibraltar rack. Yes they can be heavy and it looks like your moving house when you turn up with it all bagged up - but i wouldn't go back to separate stands for full kit setup. I went to town on memory locking everything and in 15mins I can have a 7 pc kit with 6 cymbals set back up exactly as I previously played it. I think they'll always divide the drumming community but I'm a convert if I'm taking my full kit out it will always be my racked setup. If I only need a small set up, i'll just leave my whole rack set up at home and take a few stands and the bits i need. Recommend - memory lock everything! I have never really been bothered by the space occupied around my feet by the tripod legs on snare and hit stands - but you definitely notice when you use something like this and get rid of them.

Tolle Alternative zu herkömmlichen Snareständern

Ich habe nach einer Snarehalterung gesucht, die sich einfach ins Set integrieren bzw. leicht über eine Multiklammer an einem existierenden Ständer befestigen lässt. Zunächst habe ich es mit dem GUASB Snare Basket von Gibraltar versucht, der ist aber für meine Zwecke zu kurz gewesen. Mit dem Einbeiner Gibraltar GI-9706NL Snare Stand war das Problem gelöst. Er lässt sich in variablen Höhen gut justieren und sein Korb ist über die Ball-Halterung sehr fein einzustellen. Einzig die etwas zu nah am Korb angebrachte Schraube zur Fixierung des Korbes macht das Handling etwas schwierig. Alles in allem ein gutes Stück Hardware mit langer Haltbarkeitsprognose.

Super Teil mit nervigem Fehler

Ich wollte mir das Dreibein vom Snareständer sparen, das funktioniert super. Meine Snare unternimmt keine Wanderungen mehr, und stößt nicht mehr gegen die Racktoms.
Was mich allerdings unglaublich nervt, ist der Durchmesser des unteren Rohrs. Das Teil wäre viel einfacher ins Setup einzubauen, wenn dieses Rohr den Durchmesser der normalen Rackrohre hätte. Die Normalen Rackklammern passen zwar, aber es könnte mit dieser kleinen Veränderung noch deutlich Stabiler sein, und man könnte den Ständer gescheit mit Memory-Locks versehen.
