The only style which I wouldn't totally recommend it for is Metal. Whilst I no longer play Metal I have tested it for the fun of it (through a MESA mark V head) and obviously a closed cab is better for that. Nevertheless, as the Mesa has the equaliser I could still get a mighty sound out of it.

Extreme light weight

First of all, this speaker is very light indeed. I'm using it with a zt lunchbox amp as an extension. It works great. It just adds a bit more body and low end, it has enhanced an already , nice sounding amp . This has given me a very loud " mini stack " of over 200 watts , which weighs in at around the 12 kg .
The guitars I use are an American standard strat, a les Paul standard plus and a 1974 sg standard . The speaker sounds true, to their different characters .
The build quality is great. Light but not flimsy, you can sit on it . ( unless you have eaten a whole lot of pies , then use your own judgment , after all it's not a chair) .
The grill is detachable , did I say that it's light, the corners are protected, it has a very sturdy handle.
I'm very happy with this product and Thomann were up their normal high standards. I use them a lot, usually the first place that I look.

Light as a Fetaher and Heavy as Lead

This is the best speaker I have ever used. It's 18 pounds weight but really kicks the volume - I can really get it out there in a medium venue and it's so easy to carry in. I use it with the DV Raw Dawg amp - and although tempted to buy another - the Raw D will drive a pair of these to 250 watts at 4 ohm - I really can't justify that volume on the back line.
