Nice, dark cymbal for price, but heavier than expected
Tommy B 26.11.2018
After being really pleased with a pair of Zultan Raw hats I thought I would give the Dark Matter crash a try because I was looking for a new dark, complex crash cymbal.
I read a few reviews which described Dark Matter crashes as being thin and dark so they sounded ideal. But I was a bit disappointed when my cymbal arrived, it was chunkier than I had hoped which meant that it sounds a bit 'clangy' when crashed and doesn't respond that well to being hit lightly.
On the plus side though, it definitely is dark and complex and works nicely as a crash/ride. And for this price it's great quality for the money.

Cymbal looks amazing and sounds great, a lot brighter sound wise than I expected it to be.

Zultan Becken...irgendwie entzaubert
Adrian760 17.05.2020
