I recently had my EEb taken of me by my local band due to not being able to get to rehearsals because of a very young family. Therefore left with nothing to play😒. So, into the shed and lifted the yeb-123 to begin a period of playing. This machine hasn’t been blown in years. The pea shooter! A nice little machine with a really good range in the right hands. Anyway, I noticed immediately the DW3L just wasn’t sounding right. I needed to change. The pitch was there but too squeezey, if you know what I mean. But the sound, was awkward to warm the tone. So under some advice and previous experience of a lost yam mouth piece, I headed to Thoman. The difference isn’t immense but certainly the cup gives a good impressionable difference to the warmth of sound. Now, I must say, it’s not a beginner mouth piece. The range is great, response is good and, well, I’m happy with the change.
I’m also content with the delivery to Northern Ireland, it was a bit over the week but I’ll take the Christmas holidays as an excuse.
All round, I’m happy, however, I miss the EEb 🤩🤩
