Wow! A real mind changer!
philip ! 11.06.2020
For years I used the same brand mouthpieces and was convinced I would not find anything better, then out of curiosity I tried this one, Wow! Jackpot! I only played a few notes and knew there was no going back! I can play lower (and still get around the high notes) with a nice rich, deep, warm broad tone with a good solid core (trombone sounding, not tuba!) and with a good bite when needed! Yes, I have to put a bit more air through and pay attention to holding the length of the note (attack and ending) but I have more flexibility to control the notes (pitch and tone, colour etc) It just feels right for my embouchure! and seems to work well with my Holton tr181 instrument. If you are suited to larger mouthpieces then it could well be worth a try of this one. I have been playing on this mouthpiece for four months now and find it so good that I just bought the gold plated one as well ! In the end, and as we are all different, it is about finding the mouthpiece that is right for you! This one suits me perfectly!

Yamaha Douglas Yeo Bassposaunenmundstück
pastor_in_spe 07.07.2015
