Yamaha FP9D single pedal.
Noisy Dave. 14.02.2021
In my opinion this pedal is extremely well manufactured, strong, versatile and amazingly fast.
You can really “whop” it if necessary and the adjustability on all settings is so easy to do.
The grip from the heel-end spikes is a master stroke and eliminates the dreaded creep and allows you to really work this piece of machinery.
All in all this is most probably the finest pedal I have used and I place it high in the ratings
for all aspects.
One comment only is that a curved link behind the drive-shaft would allow more clearance but this does not detract at all from the massive positives on this terrific pedal.

Gute Fussmaschine,
Musikos 03.07.2019

My first Yamahas
Miika T. 15.06.2019
I have two of these (2 bass drums). My experience of pedals is limited to Tama Speedcobras and Ironcobras (power glide). I think these Yamahas are heavyer then Speedcobras. Closer to Ironcobras (i love ironcobras). Getting used to these is still in progress, but i can already play maybe 10-15 ppm faster then Tamas (15 min. continuing double bass) only minus comes from plastic parts what are still intact.
