They do a great job of isolating the sound coming from the drum kit without being too exclusive as to completely silence softer notes. They are much more comfortable than my previous sound isolating protective headphones and the fact they also have bluetooth so that I can connect to my phone as well as being able to plug them in to my audio interface makes them an amazing set of protective headphones / noise cancelling headphones / over ear monitors. All for a really reasonable price. Couldn't recommend them any more

Total silence finally!

I previously owned two pairs of Vic Firth isolation headphones (wired) so I'm sued to their tightness which can hurt if you're wearing glasses like me. I also often had issues with the cable getting pulled while playing drums. This new pair has completely solved that problem! Additionally, I needed something to block out the horrible and loud spinning class music at the gym, and these headphones did the trick. While the sound quality is average (but good), my main goal was to achieve peace and silence. These headphones isolate noise much better than the Behringer DH100, which were already quite effective, but wired. If you're looking for ear protection on a plane, these are the best choice—you won't hear people talking even if they're right next to you. It's incredible! These headphones provide indispensable ear protection for construction workers and anyone dealing with loud environments.

Got these a week. Incredible ear protection from both drums and input. Makes lower tones of toms sound amazing. Only slight issue is that the isolation is so good it can make soft hits on the hats or ride a little inaudible. Strongly recommend anyway.
