I bought this to use on a shared bass clarinet (for hygiene reasons). I do not play bass clarinet a lot, however it has always been reasonable easy to play. I do not think the sound on this mouthpiece is as good as some of the other Vandoren mouthpieces I have tried (on different clarinets) but that may be a personal thing.
