This is a superb mute. If you are looking for a metal straight mute this is it! It sounds great and is so well made it looks like a piece of art. The corks are much more substantial than the usual offerings and after a quick look on Tom Crowns web-site it says he'll send out replacement corks FoC if you should ever need them. Can't say fairer than that.

Habe mich nach einem direkten Vergleich für die Version mit dem Kupferboden (TOM CROWN TROMBONE STRAIGHT COPPER BOTTOM) entschieden.
Bei Tom Crown TT (alu-Boden) ist der Ton klarer, schärfer oder "blechener" als bei der Kupferausführung. Die Kupfer-Version kann einen weicheren Klang erzeugen, aber wenn man will kann mans auch krachen lassen. Finde ich persönlich besser, ist aber eine Geschmacksfrage...
