If you wanted to rackmount a 3U elephant this would do the job admirably. It's extremely solid and well constructed with a very good holding system for the piece of equipment to be mounted. As my elephant only has unbalanced I/Os I used this to rackmount a hifi amp and it has done the job perfectly.

Good robust adapter with padded clamp strips.
I’ve got my Nakamichi cassette deck sitting in it and not only does it hold it rigidly but it looks great as well.
Thon products may be cheap but they’re quality built.
