Great Cajon For Great Price

This is my second cajon, that I tried to play and I love it. The sound is great, but I didn't really understand the point if the snare system. When it's on it works great, but if it's off I hear some kind of the rattle. I always keep it on ON level, so it's fine by me. But it would be nice to have some manual about how can I use or setup it.

Also front panel has different wood pattern on it, not like on the picture. And Thomann logo is black, not the white one. It's fine by me, but it could be mentioned in the description.

I am a drummer for 20 or so years but this is my first cajon. I play this at home and I think it is great. I jammed on a couple cajons before and I like mine more. There is good bass and snap of 'snare' is distinctive enough and it is pretty. I don't use the 'multi' function that much, and the on/off mechanism is somewhat hard to operate.
Overall it is a great cajon for a fair price. I love it, the kids love it and therefore the wife loves it to. And if you run out of chairs, your guests can sit on a cajon.

A basic cajon as a cajon was at their origin

Correct construction quality for what concerns the cajon (box) itself. However the 'snare' system is of a very cheap design and construction, and it does not 'snare' like you could expect and it is quite impossible to adjust the 'amount' of snare sound. Now, a cajon was born as a simple percussion instrument for the ones who could not afford a drum... so why spend 500 € in a cajon and not buy a pair of congas? So, I am pretty OK with that basic cajon.
