I bought a pair of these to help fill a hall for a school disco. They are super cheap!
I use 4 sets of PV215 Two Way speakers with both Peavey and EV subs up front of hall. The PA 15 ECO's are used at remote speakers at rear of hall to help 'fill in' the room with ~300 people.
If used by themselves they would be suitable for a disco for ~ 30 to 40 people in my opinion. I would not drive them hard. The spec is Sensitivity 115 dB max. SPL - that feels about right.
Clarity:
They do sound good; and give reasonable coverage. I use them through a band pass filter from 125Hz upwards for biggish events. and above 55Hz for smaller events.
pros : VERY light. :)
cons : they won't really stand up to lots of road use - you cannot drop them or treat them rough.
For the money they are good value.

A serious work horse
Larry F. 21.07.2014
We have been using the PA 150MK II for a number of years for both live and tracked work, (4 piece Male Vocal Swing group) on their own for small to medium sized venues or as part of a larger setup (sometimes used as bass bins) for large hotel function rooms.
The speakers are light in weight in comparison to other manufactures, but they are by no means light on sound. Fantastic Bass, and pretty decent highs. I was concerned at the time that the HF drivers wouldn't be up to much, believe me they are. Can you get better speakers? sure you can, but at this price, you can afford to keep a couple as spares, these are about the best we have seen.

Good for the money
Gary T. 03.07.2014
Wanted some 15" cabs to use with the PA.
I put vocals and acoustic guitar with loop station through the PA. I had been using some 12" cabs but thought that the guitar would benefit from bigger drivers.
It worked. The cabs are very light not what you expect. Not the best components and not constructed to the level of some other cabs I have owned in the past (EVs etc) but for the money you wont find anything better unless you are buying second hand.
When these finally retire, which I'm sure they will, I would probably buy some better quality ones. I have proved that my sound benefits from the 15" cabs so they have served their purpose.
Dont know how they are constructed and sold for this money but well worth it.
Think they were 85? each!!!!!!

the box PA15ECO MKII
Michael3851 20.02.2014
Im using the PA15ECO together with a T.amp TA600 MK-X and a Behringer Xenyx 802 as a Cheap Practicing PA.
I didnt expect HIFI-like Sound from this Box but it surprised me.
In a medium Room the Bass is punchy and powerful. Up to 7 Foot Distance the treble sound tinny. A horn would have done a better Job here.
The box is very well made and because of its low weight, it is easy to mount it on a Stand. The efficiency of the Box is very nice. You can use it on a 200 person Event (as Voice PA) without Problems.
Big T did a really good Job here again
I would buy it again
