Head for practice drumset
Notan Storm 29.07.2014
I use this head for practice on snare drum. It is silent but give you feeling of real snare drum, not a pad. You can play on drumset in your room and don't disturb your roommates or parents in next room.
I play an hour a day during 4 month and it looks like new. In future I want to buy another one for toms and bass drum.

Lovely mesh head
cschuhle 27.02.2015
I bought this mesh head to turn my old jazz kit into a practice kit with triggers on each head.

The head is as simple to install as a conventional drum head. Something that (positively) surprised me is that, once under tension the natural sound of the shell resonated. This was a lovely surprise, as I am not too ken on electronic kits. I still enjoy playing the drums without sacrificing on the sound too much...

I bought this head in 2008 and it is still alive and kicking in 2015! Excellent quality for money, as far as I'm concerned...

The negative aspect of this head is its bounciness, sticks bounce more than on a conventional double-ply drum head...

I use this Head on an old snaredrum for silent practice at home. For this it works perfectly fine. It is not very loud.
The durability is good, after a long time of continous use I still can not see abrasion.
Only machining could have been better, the head is not perfectly round but it should still fit on every shell.
Althrough the rebound is quite okay, it still differs from a real drumhead. The head is much softer than a real drumhead which gives you quite a different feeling. You hava to work harder on your sticks. But that should not be bad for practicing use.
