Nice, creative tool for your performance setup

I bought this pedal as a street musician needing some extra layers to my sound. I'd heard alot about the TC Helicon Harmony Singer range, and was excited to try it.

In terms of its harmony capabilities, it does a great job picking up the thirds, but has trouble sometimes getting the 5ths in tune. It's very important to be clear with the tonality you're playing on your instrument, and aim to get the chord or note played before the voice enters. Otherwise, you find yourself with a harmony that matches your earlier chord.

I'm pleased with the build; it's solid, though the knobs are quite high, so can quite easily be nudged slightly off where they want to be with your foot, if you're not watching exactly what you're doing. Same goes for the tone button, which I rarely use, as I find that the low cut and additional highs are a bit too much.

The reverbs are nice, subtle when used lightly, but you'll definitely get nicer plates from the desk.

So good I bought it twice
Zenn 07.04.2022
Such a handy unit for both size, function and price. Fits easy on pedal board.
Hatmonys are as good as you'll get without bring the real deal. And harmonies follow instrument quite well without lag time.
Ensure unit is bought with updated software, or at worst ensure to do it yourself.
Worth buying.

Poor quality

This is a good pedal but its let down by poor build quality.
The jack inputs are plastic and will not last in my opinion.
Otherwise the unit seems sound but apart from the blue upper casing its mostly plastic and may not stand the test of constant gigging.

4 months great then big problem
La logue 16.06.2022
Loved this pedal, added so much to my performance and overall vocal quality. Only bought it back in february, but the past 2 gigs a MAJOR problem occurred. Without any sort of warning it randomly created a HUGE explosion of buzzing / feedback that nearly blew the speaker and deafened the audience, made me look so bad. It stopped once I restarted the sound systems. Found similar complaints online, had to remove the pedal to finish the gig. I’m going to see about replacing it and pray it doesn’t happen again because when it worked it was a must-have for my set.
