I used the HyperGravity pedal in the context of building a pedalboard for live shows with my rock 5-piece band and some professional studio recording. The pedal is well built and sturdy, I had no problems with the hardware.
The reason I chose this compressor over others was because of the controls it offers, they are very good in the sense that you can really dial in the tone you want. But I didn't love this pedal, I actually disliked it because the tone was not very good. Being a professional music producer, I work with a multitude of different software compressors and I understand compression very well and the sound of this pedal was not pleasing to my ears. Even after a lot of fiddling, I was not able to find a GREAT sound, I found some decent, usable ones but nothing that made me feel like my purchase was justified. It's an okay pedal with great features and an okay sound. Nothing to write home about.
