Eines muss man Taylor lassen: Das Marketing der Firma ist spitze. Leider hält aber das Produkt nicht, was die Werbetexter versprechen. "Klingt wie eine große Gitarre..." Na ja, sie ist zwar tatsächlich fast so laut wie eine Grand Auditorium. Aber der Klang ist boxy. Da kann auch Taylor die Gesetze der Physik nicht aushebeln. Darüber hinaus hörte sich - zumindest bei meinem Exemplar - das ES-2-System über einen "Fishman Loudbox Mini" grauenhaft an. Positiv ist die sehr gute Verarbeitung und die leichte Bespielbarkeit der Gitarre zu bewerten. Dies allein kann aber den viel zu hohen Preis von aktuell knapp 1.100 Euro nicht rechtfertigen. Ich habe mein Exemplar mittlerweile wieder verkauft.
