Technical specifications:
The Stairville CLB5 RGB WW Compact LED Bar 5 comprises four spotlights that deliver a range of different colours as well as warm white, thus providing numerous different lighting options for small stages. The lights, which come pre-mounted on a compact, matt black bar, generate comparatively wide beams that are ideal for completely illuminating small stages, and even mixes of warm and cool pastel colours can be created. What is more, no corners have been cut when it comes to control options: The bar can be controlled via its own onboard control panel, using two optionally available footswitch models, and even with the infrared remote control included in the scope of delivery. And to top it all off, the bar comes in a matching padded case.
The four spotlights on the Stairville CLB5 RGB WW Compact LED Bar 5 are pre-mounted, connected, and ready to go. The bar features a total of 28 four-watt LEDs with a 40° beam angle. Red, green, blue, and warm white light can be activated and mixed separately on each spotlight via the onboard buttons and display or via DMX in 4, 8, 16, 18, or 20-channel mode. The LED bar also features a stroboscopic effect as well as automatic chasers, sound control, and a master-slave mode. In addition to the power input, the LED bar also has two IEC output sockets , and its 36mm mounting flange means it can be placed on a suitable lighting stand. Of the two foot switches that are available, one is connected by cable and the other is wireless.
The Stairville CLB5 RGB WW Compact LED Bar 5 is powerful enough to fully illuminate small stages, so it is ideal for musicians, solo artists, and theatre ensembles who like to be in charge of their own lighting. The bar can be set up quickly after arrival at the venue, and since it measures just 682 x 238 x 65mm, it won't take up much space on the journey to the next one. Its sound control mode provides the perfect basis for a long night of music, and no fewer than 38 programmes are available, thus ensuring plenty of variety. Beginners will have no problem operating these LED lights, while professionals can fully indulge their creativity with up to 20 DMX channels. A specific benefit of DMX mode is that crossfades and precisely-timed blackouts can be achieved that are suitable for theatre performances.
Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann’s in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store’s product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Thomann constantly has around 1,600 Stairville products on offer, and the figures speak for themselves: Statistically, one in every fifteen Thomann customers owns at least one Stairville product. Incidentally, the name “Stairville” is also a catchy English translation of “Treppendorf”, the town that Thomann calls home.
For conventional illumination, two Stairville CLB5 RGB WW Compact LED Bar 5 units can be placed on stands to the left and right of the stage, and the individual lights can be rotated with particular ease during use thanks to their flat housings. If the two bars are to be controlled from a lighting desk, they must be connected together with a DMX cable, then the first one connected to the lighting desk and the second one set to slave mode. Finally, the whole ensemble must be connected to the power supply. The individual light sequences can be stored on the lighting desk during rehearsals, and the speed of the automatic shows can be adjusted. Another convenient feature is that the microphone sensitivity parameter can be accessed via DMX and different settings stored for each song depending on the mood.
