I was surprised to find that getting a good shaker is harder than you might think. After all it's pretty low tech ... you shake it ... that's it. No????
We bought a few from Thomann including the LRMS-L. I must say it has a really nice sound, great for recording. But it's a little bulky for using on stage, especially so by our female singers, who like shaking stuff if they're not singing!
The LP441T-L Twist Shaker Loud that Thomann sell is fantastic for live work, loud and light. This one is good for slower songs and recording, but I was a little disappointed in it on stage.
