Great big heavy tuners. Really easy to install, super smooth operation, and I've got no worries about them breaking off or being damaged if I drop the guitar. They hold their tuning well, and have a great feel when actually tuning. The only downside for them is that they are very heavy, so they do add a lot of weight to the headstock. I'm happy to deal with this - I'm used to guitars with a lot of neck dive, but for me it's worth it for the added solidity. This could obviously be an issue for some, and especially on lighter bodied guitars.
Overall though, these are very solid, very reliable, incredibly well-built tuners. A little weighty, but otherwise, no complaints.

j'ai acheté ces mécaniques pour monter sur une guitare que j'ai réalisé, et il n'y a rien a redire, Schaller reste Schaller, l'accordage tient sans probleme, et les mécaniques en elles mêmes ont un très beau designe.
je les recommande vivement maigres le prix (qui au final est justifié.

Ich habe neue Mechaniken für meine Westerngitarre gebraucht, da ein Stimmwirbel gebrochen war und die schwarzen Wirbel einfach abgegriffen waren. Ich habe mich für Schaller entschieden, da ich von denen nur gutes gehört habe und außerdem "Made in Germany" drauf stand. Es war alles dabei zum umbauen und ging auch sehr schnell. Die Mechaniken in silber sehen nicht nur gut aus sondern sind auch stabiler als die alten. Ich muss sagen die Gitarre lässt sich präziser stimmen als zuvor, es ist alles angenehmer als bei den alten. Jederzeit wieder!!!
