Instrument looks great, but a box was damaged
I'm no expert in instruments, but the saz looks and sounds great and has two minor scratches.
However, the box was damaged while shipping (it was stated so on the tracking page). While I was waiting for the instrument to be shipped to me, I was afraid that it was damaged as well. Luckily, it was not. When the instrument finally got here (it took about a month to travel from Germany to Lithuania in these Corona times), the box had a hole in it that was sealed by duct tape bearing a name of a local shipping company. And one of the small items I ordered must have fell out through the hole of the box. Thomann should really reconsider the way they pack an unusual instrument - the box was not sealed good enough.

T
beware when tuning!
When first sitting down to tune it, one of the strings snapped before reaching its intended pitch for some reason...
Other than that, all seems good, well-made instrument & perfect for a beginner like me
