I mostly use 7A's for the shorter length and diameter, but some are just too light. These 'hornwood' sticks are made from a slightly denser wood. I like the feel - slightly heavy like oak, but they don't jar in your hand like oak sometimes does.
Great for playing both loud and soft, they rebound nicely and feel comfortable.
Highly recommended for someone who likes 7A's but wants a little more weight.

I must say that I've tried all kind of different brands of drumsticks, from big names to unknown makers
but this impressed me very much. I play different styles of music, switching back and forth from 5a to 7a
but from now on I'll stick with Rohemia 7a. They feel good in your hands, natural finish is excellent , they have a nice balance and they are strong.
I find the price really good for the value you get.
I am a heavy heater and this time I don't need to switch to 5a as these last more than others.

Schade.

Unfortunately I have to drastically change my one positive rating to a negative one. At first I liked the sticks. I was pleased with the first sticks, everything was beautifully balanced. At some point I had "played" them - as is often the case - and the sticks no longer sounded "round", but the other two pairs had a short lifespan and the tips broke off relatively quickly. Okay, that can happen. Ticked off. My wife recently gave me a few of them and now, within a day, within ten minutes, three tips from four pairs literally exploded during moderate play on the set. I've never experienced this so badly with other sticks. Coincidence? Or just bad luck? I'm afraid the wood is TOO hard and will splinter quickly if you don't play very gently. They felt good in the hand, seemed well made, yes. But the tips splintering away like that - sobering. A pity.

Contras ( A gusto personal ) :
- Pesadas
- Desafinadas

We found some drum sticks that were quite well balanced and at a very amazing price. Like all products we found a series of pros and cons, but, in the case of drumsticks... they are a very personal preference: Pros: - Well balanced - Careful choice of the pair of drumsticks - Balanced - Good attack - Good wood - They are used for agility thanks to their weight Cons (Personal taste): - Heavy - Out of tune In summary: we find some good drum sticks, especially for harder styles, such as Rock, heavy and even pop, since it has a lot of weight in the hit. Also recommended for studio recording. I would not recommend them for playing the snare drum in a band or orchestra since being heavy complicates the possibility of playing piano and having correct technique with them.
