Paired 40mm drivers made of high-performance neodymium, a special voice coil with an elaborate aluminium alloy, and an extremely rigid three-layer Mylar diaphragm are just a few of the technical highlights of the NTH-100. The frequency response of 5Hz to 35kHz is impressive indeed, and thanks to the low impedance of 32 ohms, the RODE headphones can be used with smartphones or tablets without any problems. Comfort is guaranteed by the spring steel headband and the adjustable FitLock earcups, which allow each user to customise the NTH-100 to their own needs while keeping everything in place, even under demanding circumstances. Great headphones that are incredibly comfortable to wear, but with a serious flaw

I've owned two of these now, and while I absolutely love them, they have a serious flaw. The plastic part that locks the earcups in place have now, on both units, suffered the same stress fracture which causes it to break apart completely. This is an incredible and serious design flaw, and it's unbelievable that they haven't discovered this during the design and engineering phase - something puts too much pressure on the plastic joint, causing it to break even with completely normal use. Sucks, because I really like these phones!

Really comfortable headset but they keep breaking where you adjust the size of the head band. We have return twice already and embarrassed to return a third time.
