Excellent mute at a reasonable price

This is an excellent mute, the sound is very nice and the the intonation is good. The mute has a tuning mechanism. Very good finish on the mute with no visible imperfections. Includes a pouch.

Ich hatte bei Thomann acht Horndämpfer bestellt und diese miteinander verglichen. Teilweise waren es Holzdämpfer, teils Übedämpfer.

Ich habe mich für den RGC Mutes Cherry Horn Mute TPA01 entschieden. Er stimmt sehr gut. Bei mir ist er sogar etwas zu hoch, was mich besonders freut, weil normalerweise die meisten Dämpfer bei mir zu tief sind. (Dies ist sicherlich auch sehr vom Bläser abhängig.)

Der Dämpfer hat einen angenehmen Klang. Er klingt offener als mein 25 Jahre alter Pöltl (der aber auch viel durchgemacht hat und wirklich "abgeliebt" ist...)
Intonation und Ansprache sind sehr gut. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann ihn nur wärmstens empfehlen! Einfach mal ausprobieren.

I ordered eight horn mutes from Thomann and compared them with each other. Some of them were wooden mutes, some of them were over-mutes. I chose the RGC Mutes Cherry Horn Mute TPA01. He tunes very well. For me it's even a little too high, which makes me particularly happy because usually most shocks are too low for me. (This certainly also depends a lot on the wind player.) The mute has a pleasant sound. He sounds more open than my 25 year old Pöltl (who has also been through a lot and is really "loved out"...). The intonation and response are very good. I am very satisfied and can only warmly recommend him! Just try it out.

Qualität hat ihren Preis ? Quality has its price ?

wir hatten 2 Horndämpfer im direkten Vergleich: den von RGC und den von MB. Beide sind hervorragend verarbeitet und lassen sich gut ansprechen. RGC ist eine Nuance lauter. MB klingt etwas runder. Trotzdem gab unsere Hornlehrerin (spielt professionell im Orchester) beiden durchweg sehr gute Noten.
Wer Solist ist, sollte diesen Dämpfer ruhig testen - es lohnt sich.

We had 2 horn mutes in direct comparison: the one from RGC and the one from MB. Both are excellently made and are easy to respond to. RGC is a shade louder. MB sounds a bit rounder. Nevertheless, our horn teacher (plays professionally in the orchestra) gave both of them very good grades. If you're a soloist, you should try this damper - it's worth it.

Sonorité et qualité de fabrication parfaite

Aucuns problème de justesse bien sûr puisqu'elle est accordable.
La qualité de fabrication est très soignée avec petite cordelette en cuir parfaite. en comparaison avec le modèle DW, je choisis celle ci sans hésiter. Le son est parfait
