Exactly what you need
african violet 04.06.2020
If you came across this product page, odds are this is exactly what you need.

My experience with "cheap" phono preamps have been lackluster due to the fact that almost all of them have unbalanced outs and do not bode well with external noise. RCA connectors are not the most durable, so it would become a hassle to listen to a record. However, this preamp + DI Box gives you a balanced out and, even though it's not an "audiophile" product, I would argue that it sounds pretty good.

WS
makes a substantial difference

The most flexible turntable preamp I could find, with all the ins and outs you would need. I bought it in the first place as a direct box for recording old vinyl records with my microphone preamps, but because the sound is so much better I use it also as my standard phono preamp for regular listening.

R
Radial J33 record deck DI box
Richard81 22.09.2015
I have not had the Radial j33 DI box for very long to be able to give it a long term review, what I liked first of all out of the box was it's ruged construction and the feel of quality with the weight of a good DI box.
I have already given it a fair bit of use connecting it up to the desk on a PA system to enable me to play some records.
The deck is a vintage Technics SL-150 with an SME tone arm that I know gives a superb sound and connecting it through the Radial J33 did not disappoint in any way.
The music was blues/rock with the cymbals sounding clear along with the guitar and the bass and drums sounding solid and punchy as they also should.
All in all I am very pleased with the DI box and would highly recomend it to anyone.

DP
Very well made
Degree Productions 23.01.2020
This unit is quite specific and for what it is (RIAA phono preamp) maybe a bit expensive. Hovewer, I've been using it for a few years now as a problem solver for dodgy DJ mixers and for archiving records and it still functions as it did when I bought it.
