High-quality long-lasting strings with a lot of color

Evah Pirazzi Gold has been my default choice of strings for years. It only takes a few days for the strings to settle and stabilize. As one of the most expensive sets of strings, these sound good for quite a long time, as do some other similarly priced synthetic strings, which somewhat justifies the higher price. Compared to other strings with similar price tags, with the evah pirazzi gold it is easy to switch between a soft and mellow tone and a powerful, brilliant tone, albeit the brilliance is a bit reduced compared to for example the original evah pirazzi or the vision titanium solo. The response isn't that great but in par with most brilliant-sounding strings. Highly recommended for playing with a lot of color.

Nous cherchons tous les cordes parfaites; entre tirant et souplesse, je pense que le compromis est bon. Je l'utile avec un violon français 4/4 signé Breton, en orchestre symphonique (La accordé à 442). Au bout des quelques heures de jeu, la stabilité s'installe tandis que le son est très brillant: ce qui permet un répertoire assez large.

Kräftig und Obertonreich. Wie gewohnt, höchste Qualität von Pirastro.

Die G-Saite gefällt mir zwar überhaupt nicht, aber man kann diese sehr helle G durch eine normale Evah Pirazzi 'strong' ersetzen und bekommt dann eine weiche und kräftige G hinzu, die bei manchen Instrumenten (wie meinem) besser funktioniert.

Ich hoffe, daß es bald auch Einzelsaiten von Pirastro 'strong' bei Thomann im Katalog gibt, damit man Saitensätze besser an das Instrument anpassen kann.

Übrigens: viele Pirastro Saiten harmonieren sehr gut miteinander.
Dass Chromcor mit Eudoxa nicht funktioniert, sollte jedem klar sein, aber Evah Pirazzi mit Evah Pirazzi Gold, oder Obligato vertägt sich wunderbar!
