While I am beginner on flute, I am far away not a newbie in music. Being also symphonic composer, I know how flute should sound like and what shall I expect from it.
I could manage play on low-B and high 3rd octave, having basically done it all myself from day on. If I could, you can do that too. Sound is a bit different than Yamaha flutes. Personally, I think Yamahas are mostly soul-less with perfect mechanics (as the rest of their instruments). But your taste, and thus an opinion, might vary of course.
Nothing much that I dislike on that flute, thought I was looking carefully. It is cleanly made, very nice mechanics that seems durable as same as Yamaha does. Especially I like its response, it is kind of "softer" and more gentle than Yamaha. Normally, if one cannot play low B or C, it is in most cases due to Flute is leaking or you are not covering holes well. But with this one — not even a brainer to get these notes. Practice and you will do it.
I love its sound, response and sound control. Especially for this price, haha! :-)
