An awesome flute!
Bogdan M. 25.03.2020
While I am beginner on flute, I am far away not a newbie in music. Being also symphonic composer, I know how flute should sound like and what shall I expect from it.

I could manage play on low-B and high 3rd octave, having basically done it all myself from day on. If I could, you can do that too. Sound is a bit different than Yamaha flutes. Personally, I think Yamahas are mostly soul-less with perfect mechanics (as the rest of their instruments). But your taste, and thus an opinion, might vary of course.

Nothing much that I dislike on that flute, thought I was looking carefully. It is cleanly made, very nice mechanics that seems durable as same as Yamaha does. Especially I like its response, it is kind of "softer" and more gentle than Yamaha. Normally, if one cannot play low B or C, it is in most cases due to Flute is leaking or you are not covering holes well. But with this one — not even a brainer to get these notes. Practice and you will do it.

I love its sound, response and sound control. Especially for this price, haha! :-)

going by price

I am not a flautist, but I bought this for my wife. It is her first flute but I have spent much time in rooms with flautists of all levels and am very sensitive to tone. This flute sounds really beautiful, even at the lips of a beginner. Comparing to what I have heard of similar priced models, and even some above, there is something much more natural and pleasing to the sound of this Pearl.

I can't speak as any kind of expert but it certainly seems an excellent choice even for intermediate players on a budget, and I am certain would be wonderful with a headpiece upgrade later on.

This is a very good flute for intermediate players. I would also suggest buying it for beginners because it is so easy to play! This flute will last long and take you through many of the music grades because of it's good quality. The sound is beautiful and it is very easy to play. I would highly recommend it.

Was will man mehr.
