This is the first time I have tried carbon strings and I was very pleasantly surprised. The differences are subtle but noticable. I found they projected more sound and sustain. I also found that the treble strings were more prominent when played. The sound is a little brighter but still very nice. I think I'll stick with carbon strings and if you haven't tried them yet it's well worth trying a set to see if you like them.
