These are durable and easy enough to solder. Compared to a proper Neutrik, the strain relief is not as good, and they are much harder to re-use, as the strain relief needs to be bent open again. Also, the range of cable diameters it can accommodate is not as large.
I wouldn't use these for higher wear or really frequent uses, but use a fair bit for semi-permanent connections where the cable isn't being pulled regularly.
